This newsletter, designed to expand the university's international scientific interactions with academic institutions abroad, aims to inform all faculty, students, and IUT staff about international events, educational opportunities, and research available in international academic spaces, News of visits and conferences, as well as bylaws and circulars related to international affairs, which can affect the international scientific interactions of outstanding academics.

The global ranking of the National University of Taiwan for 2020 was announced in which 12 Iranian universities are among the top 800 universities in the world. In this ranking, among the universities of the Ministry of Science, Research and Technology, Isfahan University of Technology was ranked 2nd after the University of Tehran with the rank of 601-650.

This meetingexploiting was held on Tuesday, October 27, 2020 aiming at having constant international interactions and effective communication with other countries and defining appropriate programs and strategies for exploiting our country's science and technology diplomacy during the COVID­-19 crisis.

According to the latest ranking announced by the prestigious US News Institute in 2021, with obtaining a score of 46.6, Isfahan University of Technology is ranked 4 among all Iranian universities; 128 among Asian universities and 631 among the world universities. After Tehran University, Islamic Azad University and Tehran University of Medical Sciences, Isfahan University of Technology is ranked 4 in Iran which is the 1st university among the country's technological universities.

A meeting was held between the Switzerland Embassy’s Counsellor, Mrs. Chantal Delli, PhD, and IUT faculty members on August 25, 2020. The main theme of the meeting revolved around the scientific collaborations between the IUT faculty members and Swiss partners.
