It’s an honor for International Affairs of Isfahan University of Technology to announce the success of Dr. Vahid Salari, the  faculty member of Department of Physics and head of  International Grants Office of Isfahan University of Technology has received a scholarship from the Horizon 2020 program in Europe.

The scholarship will be titled Euro Flagship on Quantum Technologies and it will be in collaborating with three countries of Germany, Switzerland and Spain.

The project will be funded by the end of 2020.

The project for Integrated Water Resources Management of the Zayandehrud River has been implemented by German researchers, with the support of the German Ministry of Science and Iran Ministry of Energy, with the cooperation of Isfahan University of Technology and the participation of the Isfahan Regional Water Company in 8 years, and now the second phase has been completed

Department of Natural Resources of  Isfahan University of Technology and Xinjiang Institute of Geography and Ecology of CAS established the first joint field research station in Iran at IUT and joined the network of ecological research stations along Silk Road .

The Times Higher Education World University Rankings 2019 includes more than 1250 universities, 11 Iranian universities are among this list in the field of biological sciences. The first rank of Iranian universities in this field belongs to Isfahan University of Technology.
The university's ranking has been reported in the range of 501 to 600
According to the Times ranking , 10 other Iranian universities are Ferdowsi University of Mashhad, Gilan, Iran Medical Sciences, Isfahan, Bahonar Kerman, Shahid Beheshti, Shiraz, Tabriz, Tehran and Urmia respectively.

According to  the latest ranking of world universities in the US News Ranking System in 2019, Isfahan University of Technology with a score of 42.8 and a global ranking of 590 has got fourth place in the ranking among the top universities in Iran. It has also got the first place of  ranking  in Physics and Materials Engineering.
