On January 24th, the Director of IUT International Scientific Cooperation Center paid a visit to CERN. In this visit, Prof. Mosaddegh met with the deputy Spokesperson of the CMS experiment as well as the CMS BRIL project management, a project that IUT is involved in its upgrade to operate at the high-luminosity LHC. In that meeting, the CMS management expressed their satisfaction with the excellent performance of the IUT team while discussing ways to further extend IUT's contribution.

Prof. Esmaeil Mehryar , an Assistant Professor at Biosystem Department of Agricultural Engineering Faculty, Is assigned as the Iran’s Scientific Counsellor in China. In an assignment letter by the Minister of Science, Research and Technology, he was chosen for this position for a two-year period to manage all Iranian students’ academic affairs in China, Japan and South Korea. Apart from the aforementioned assignments, Prof.

Dr. Chantal Delli, Economic and Scientific Counsellor of the Embassy of Switzerland in Iran paid a visit to IUT. Dr. Delli paid a visit to the International Scientific Cooperation Center at IUT to meet with the new head of Swiss Desk, Prof. Dr. Jafari. Insisting that all decisions at Swiss universities are made independently, she expressed her hope to continue scientific cooperation. Various aspects of such cooperation were put under scrutiny in order to strengthen the already strong ties between the two scientific communities.

The seminar, which is going to be held on February 5 at Fotouhi Conference Hall, hosts Dr. Gol Sanami, an associate professor at Shandong Science and Industry University and the Manager of Iran’s Scientific and Technological Interactions Office at Shanghai Cooperation Organization Town, who will present potential joint research opportunities and the procedures to establish an office at Shandong Province universities’ science and technology parks. With regard to publications in top journals over a period of 2019-2021, Iran Scientific Elite Federation, which is supported and managed by Science and Technology Vice-Presidency, has published its list of 100 Scientific Elites as well as 15 Young Scientific Elites. Isfahan University of Technology is honored to have secured three positions on the list.

The meeting, hosted by the IUT  International Scientific Cooperation Center on November 15, aimed to discuss expansion of international relationships in order to attract and exchange students with Turkish universities, share ideas on upcoming international events and introduce the Polymer Research Center’s International Relations Office to ECOSF.
