The Iranian Ministry of Science, Research, and Technology (MSRT) appointed Isfahan University of Technology as a member of the Elite Working Group for Scientific and Technological Cooperation with the Sultanate of Oman,
During the first session of this working group which was held at MSRT on October 2, 2024, Dr. Behrouz Abtahi, the deputy of the International Scientific Cooperation Center of the Iranian Ministry of Science, Research, and Technology mentioned the importance of the Sultanate of Oman for the Islamic Republic of Iran and said: Oman is one of the countries that has friendly relationships with Iran and scientific cooperation between the two countries is developing. 
"Some of these collaborations are carried out individually by Iranian experts and elites in Oman's universities and technology centers, and universities and working groups can organize another part.", added Dr. Abtahi.

It is mentioned that based on the last version of the list of Iranian Universities published by the Ministry of Higher Education, Research and Technology of the Sultanate of Oman, the certificates issued by the Isfahan University of Technology, along with 15 other leading Iranian Universities are approved by this ministry.

It should be noted that the secretariat of the Elite Working Group for Scientific and Technological Cooperation with the Sultanate of Oman has been located at the Shiraz University of Technology for two years by MSRT.
