An action plan for establishment of a joint engineering faculty has been signed between Isfahan University of Technology and University of Sulaimaniah

Prof. Mahboobi Soofiani, Director of ISCO, along with a delegation headed by Dr. Salar Amoli the vice minister of Science, Research and Technology for International Affairs, had a trip to Iraq and visited several Iraqi universities and institutes from February 26 to March 3, 2016.

During the visit from University of Sulaimani (UOS), a cooperation agreement for opening a joint engineering faculty in the fields of Electrical and Computer Engineering, Chemical Engineering and Mechanical Engineering has been signed between IUT and UOS.
