The second joint call of the Iranian National Science Foundation (INSF) and the Russian Science Foundation (RSF) was published to support 10 research projects.
Priority areas are:
- Life sciences: such as biology, biotechnology, microbiology, etc. (non-medical)
- Materials science: such as smart materials, biomaterials, superconductors, batteries, and rare-earth minerals.
- Health and medical research
Faculty members of universities and educational and research institutions can participate in this call. Iranian researchers must complete the application format and the joint English proposal form in cooperation with their Russian colleagues and register in the Kuiper system of the Iranian National Science Foundation. In addition to uploading the joint English proposal form, this system requires the completion of the Persian online form in stages and the required documents, which are also requested for the joint proposal form, including projects and an up-to-date verdict.

Financial support for each joint research project for an Iranian researcher is 30 billion rials for a period of three years.
Researchers can refer to the National Science Foundation of Iran Research Management System (Kiper System) to register, and can do so through registration. If you register your personal profile in this system, first register and then log in to the system using the username (email) and password sent.
After logging in to submit a new project, you can submit a proposal from the special tab for international projects/Russian Science Foundation call.
