
During the visit of the Isfahan University of Technology Vice President of Student Affairs from Armenia, a memorandum of understanding for joint scientific, educational, and research cooperation was signed between this university and the National Polytechnic University of Armenia - Kapan Branch.
This memorandum of understanding was signed on Tuesday, June 26, 2025, during a meeting between Dr. Mojtaba Babaei Khorzoghi, Vice President of Student Affairs at Isfahan University of Technology, and Ms. Nooneh Isakian, representing the management of the National Polytechnic University of Armenia - Kapan Branch, at the university's location in the center of Syunik Province, Armenia.
Achieving goals related to the development of technology and innovation between the two neighboring countries, maintaining university relations, and meeting the scientific, educational, and research needs of the two countries are among the most important goals of concluding this joint memorandum. Student exchange between the two universities, conducting joint research activities, organizing study opportunities for students and professors of the two universities, holding joint short-term courses, concluding joint research contracts with industries and mines in Armenia, especially Syunik Province, and... are among the strategies for signing the memorandum of understanding between Isfahan University of Technology and the National Polytechnic University of Armenia - Kapan Branch. It is worth noting that this meeting took place with the participation and invitation of Dr. Morteza Abedini, Consulate General of Kapan, to strengthen scientific diplomacy between Iran and Armenia.
