According to the results of the recently published ISC national ranking, which was approved in the 980th meeting of the Higher Education Development Council of the Ministry of Science, Research and Technology in Farvardin 1404, Isfahan University of Technology ranked fifth among the country's industrial universities.

In the group of industrial universities, 24 universities were ranked, which Iran University of Science and Technology, Sharif University of Technology, Amir Kabir University of Technology, and Khajeh Nasiruddin Toosi University of Technology ranking first to fourth, respectively.

In the published ISC report, which evaluated 115 public universities and higher education institutions and 21 private universities in the academic year 1401-1402, the performance of universities was measured based on 6 key criteria: universities were evaluated in the fields of education (25 percent), research (20 percent), technology and innovation (15 percent), authority and scientific and technological diplomacy (15 percent), cultural-social and student (15 percent), and management and productivity (10 percent).

It is worth mentioning that Isfahan University of Technology has always had a strong presence in national and international rankings in recent years and has been able to establish its position as one of the scientific poles of the country. This university has also achieved 489th place in the 2025 QS World Ranking. Also, in the Times 2025 Subject Ranking, which was previously published in February, Isfahan University of Technology was ranked 401-500.

Isfahan University of Technology’s recent success in the ISC national assessment reflects the continued scientific and research growth trend of this university and its emphasis on the quality of education, knowledge production, and effective participation in the scientific development of the country.
