
According to the Isfahan University of Technology Public Relations, Mohsen Ahmadi, a faculty member of the department of Natural Resources Engineering and the secretary of the event, referring to the goals of the ceremony, said: This award was held with the aim of supporting and appreciating the activities of students and professors in various environmental fields.
He added: Environment, as an interdisciplinary subject, is also of interest in the fields of technology and engineering, humanities and social sciences. Ahmadi clarified: The winners of this course were introduced in five main areas: superior theses and dissertations, inventions and innovations, and knowledge-based and innovative projects, scientific research in the field of saving rare and endangered species, culture building in the field of environmental protection, and the activities of student groups and scientific associations in the field of natural resources and the environment.
The event secretary stated: Moslem Yazdani, a PhD student at Isfahan University of Technology, was recognized as the winner of the best PhD thesis in the category of wind erosion committee, ecological risk assessment, and determination of the index of plant interaction with air pollution, and Zahra Heydari, a PhD student at Isfahan University, was recognized as the winner of this category in the category of innovations and creations with the plan to use mineral waste from industrial factories in construction materials.
The ceremony also honored the Secretary of the Environmental Scientific Association of the University of Kurdistan in the category of student activities and scientific associations.
