The ceremony of honoring the distinguished professor and statistician of the country was held in Mazandaran University in the 16th Iranian Statistics Conference on August 24, 2022.
Prof. Abdolrahman Rasekh, a faculty member of Shahid Chamran University of Ahvaz and the president of the Iranian Statistics Association, wrote in a note for a book in honoring Prof. Rejali that he is an active member of the specialty committees of the Iranian Statistics Society, such as the joint cooperation committee of official statistics and he also contributes to advancing procedures of internships for undergraduate students. Prof. Rejali has been a key figure in the study programs of young colleagues in executive bodies, statistical literacy, and statistics education. The integration of the Statistics Society, the active presence of the Statistics Society in the mathematics branch of the Academy of Sciences and the great status of statistics in the Academy are indebted to his support and consultation.
It is worth mentioning that Prof. Ali Rejali is a faculty member of the Department of Mathematical Sciences of Isfahan University of Technology, an outstanding professor of statistics in Iran, and the founder of Isfahan House of Mathematics. He has a brilliant record such as the award “Paul-Ehrlich-und-Ludwig-Darmstaedter-Preis”, the former vice president of the World Federation of National Mathematical Competitions (WFNMC), and a member of the study group of the International Commission on Mathematical Instruction (ICMI).
