A delegation from Politecnico di Torino visited Isfahan University of Technology. The members of this delegation including: Prof. Bernardino Chiaia, Vice Rector for International Affairs (Politecnico di Torino), Mrs. Elisa Armando, Head of International Relations, Mobility and Cooperation Projects Division (Politecnico di Torino), Prof. Carlo Naldi, Chairman of Uni-Italia Scientific committee (Uni-Italia) and two members of the Iranian Students' Association of the Politecnico di Torino (Mr. Kasra Chalabi and Mr. Hossein Dan Esfahani) visited IUT on March 12, 2017.
During their visit, the Politecnico di Torino delegation members had a meeting with Prof. Mahboobi Soofiani, Director of IUT International and Scientific Cooperation Office and some of the IUT officials including: Dr. Karimi Director of Research Affairs, Prof. Noorbakhsh the head of the Graduate Center and Dr. Ghaisari director for Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center and IUT Technology Incubation Center. At this meeting the parties discussed about the current scientific collaboration between IUT and Italian Universities and Scientific Centers and negotiate about the ways of expanding collaboration between both institutes.
