The Ministry of Science, Research and Technology of Iran has appointed the Isfahan University of Technology as the National Contact Point in Scientific Collaboration with Switzerland universities and research centers.

IUT has a strong tie and extended scientific collaboration with several top universities of Switzerland such as ETH Zurich, EPFL and the University of Zurich. Annually, a significant number of IUT faculty members and students travel to these centers to pursue their research projects and spending their sabbaticals.
