A delegation from Koya University visited Isfahan University of Technology

A delegation from Koya University, headed by Koya University president, Dr. Wali Mahmood Hamad, visited IUT on April 18-19, 2016.
During this visit, the Koya delegation had a formal meeting with Dr. Modarres Hashemi, president of IUT. In this meeting both parties had discussions about the ways of putting the signed MOU between IUT and the Koya University in action. This MOU was signed between two universities during the visit of IUT Delegation from Koya University in September, 2015. The main topic of discussions was around the acceptance of Koya University post graduate students at IUT. In addition to that there was some talks about the collaboration in establishing new departments at Koya University, such as agriculture department.

Visiting several IUT departments including departments of Physic, Chemistry, Mechanical Engineering, Agriculture Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Mining Engineering as well as Biotechnology and Bioengineering Institute, Central Library, Solar Energy Center and National High Performance Computing Center was another programs of the Koya Delegation. They also take part in official dinner banquets organized by IUT.

Koya University is located in Koy Sanjaq, near Arbil (Hewlêr), capital of the Erbil Governorate in the Iraqi Kurdistan region of Iraq. It was established in 2003.
