The representative of the Alliance of 4 Universities of Spain (A-4U), Dr. Olga Belova, visited Isfahan University of Technology on July 8, 2017. Dr. Belova is the International Project Manager at A-4U and the main purpose of her visit from IUT was negotiating with IUT officials about putting the common MOU between IUT and A-4U (signed in 2015), into action.
During the visit of a delegation from Technical University of Madrid (UPM) from Isfahan University of Technology, the memorandum of understanding between two universities has been renewed.

Prof. Bernd Scholl, Professor of Spatial Development at ETH Zurich, had a scientific talk entitled “Swiss Planning Systems” at the Department of Natural Resources of Isfahan University of Technology, in May 2, 2017.

The Ministry of Science, Research and Technology of Iran has appointed the Isfahan University of Technology as the National Contact Point in Scientific Collaboration with Switzerland universities and research centers.
IUT has a strong tie and extended scientific collaboration with several top universities of Switzerland such as ETH Zurich, EPFL and the University of Zurich.
