15 Russian guests, including 5 university rectors, 10 vice-rectors, and representatives of Russian universities, visited Isfahan University of Technology on Wednesday, March 2 in the framework of the 7th rector's forum of the top universities of Iran and Russia.

Moreover, the Russian Consul General in Isfahan, the International Director of the University of Tehran, and the International Director of the University of Isfahan were present at the meeting. According to the Isfahan University of Technology Public Relations, Dr. Seyed Ali Mohammad Mirmohammadi Meybodi, rector of Isfahan University of Technology said: The visit of members of the Russian Federation to Isfahan University of Technology demonstrates the strong friendship between institutions and the governments, achieving success across borders, and our partnership.

"We at Isfahan University of Technology believe that education and research have the power to gather people, and this helps us to better understand and solve problems that affect us all", added Dr. Meybodi.

The rector of Isfahan University of Technology stated that universities play a key role in building bridges between cultures and ideas and said: "As presidents of Iranian and Russian universities, we have similar values ​​in the field of knowledge production, supporting students, and transforming the world into a better place to live in today's interconnected and integrated world."

 The meeting also emphasized technical cooperation in industry, technology and materials, computer science, and basic sciences.

During this meeting, Isfahan University of Technology signed 2 Memorandum of Understanding with Lomonosov Moscow State University and Science and Technology University of UFA.
