On December 14, 2024, following the arrangements made, Dr. Kanani, Iran's Scientific Chancellor to Europe, was a guest of Isfahan University of Technology. In this meeting, which was attended by Dr. Safavi, Vice President for Research and Technology of Isfahan University of Technology, Dr. Mossadegh, Director of IUT International Scientific Cooperation Center, Mr. Seif from the office of the Iranian Ministry of International Affairs in Isfahan, and IUT faculties international coordinators, Dr. Kanani explained the history, the most important activities carried out by the Iranian Scientific Advisory Board in Europe, the opportunities and challenges. The European Advisory Board of MSRT is based in Paris and operates in 29+2 countries on the European continent (including members of the European Union, the United Kingdom, and Switzerland). The four main missions of this institution are: 

1. Strengthening scientific and research cooperation and attraction 
2. Promoting the participation of European academics in Iran 
3. Creating effective inter-university networks 
4. Comprehensive support programs for Iranian students in the European Union.

It is estimated that about 48,000 Iranian students and 2,000 professors are working in Europe.
